Biographical Note

Bertha Samson married Philipp Mühsam in 1881. They are the parents of Eva Kantorowicz (1883-1950). Her husband Franz was the head of the Kantorowicz liqueur firm, located first in Posen (Poznan) and then in Berlin. He was also the brother of Gertrud Kantorowicz and a cousin of Ernst Kantorowicz.
