Biographical Note

Robert Schwarz was born in Vienna in 1921. He left Austria in 1939 with the help of Kindertransport to England, from where he left for the USA in 1940. He taught history and philosophy at Carnegie Mellon College in Pittsburgh for 16 years and at Florida Atlantic University for 25 years.
