Biographical Note

Richard Frank survived the Holocaust in Leipzig, Germany, thanks to his second wife Amanda (‘Muckchen’) who was not Jewish. His sister Hedwig Ems in Berlin was deported to Theresienstadt, which she survived before returning to Berlin.

H. Richard Levy is Richard Frank's grandson.
