Contains a letter from Isaac Israel Hayes to A.M. Thompson, Esq., declining the latter's invitation due to Hayes' plans to be in the Arctic Circle. Includes calling cards of Michael Schaaps, a letter Schaaps wrote in Dutch, a French menu for an unidentified banquet, an appeal letter in Dutch to the Dutch Israelites of New York, an invitation to a first anniversary celebration for the Marshall Lodge, No. 848, and an arrangement of seating for an unidentified banquet.
