This finding aid was compiled from the working research notes of Dr. Annie Polland, hired by the Eldridge Street Synagogue in order to research its history and aid in the creation of the Eldridge Street Synagogue Museum located at 12 Eldridge Street in New York City. Dr. Polland generously donated her research notes to the AJHS and these notes form the basis of this Finding Aid.
