Biographical Note

Hermann Wahl (1830-1915) was the owner of the well established fashion store “S. & R. Wahl” in Wuppertal-Barmen, Germany.

R. Ries from Ballendorf in Baden-Württemberg might have been a student at the Jewish (?) finishing school ‘P.F. Biberstein’ in Donaueschingen, Germany. She probably was a family member of Hermann Wahl of Barmen, Germany.
